While looking for a spark of inspiration in the most random corners of the internet, I came across a unique character in the city that never sleeps - NYC.

Having a story in mind I packed my friend and DOP Tony Kopec, put everything on one card, booked tickets to New York City and hoped for the universe to play along.

We met our character Irvondra in Brooklyn, told her about the idea and it was on. One week with few hours of sleep later we sat in our apartment in Williamsburg with footage of the most authentic and moving story we could have asked for - The story of Irvondra and Cylas.
